Red Dragon Divers
Red
Dragon Divers
is
a small, friendly and active scuba diving club
and is branch 0495 of the British Sub Aqua Club
(BSAC).
We
are based in Pembrokeshire and make the most of
our diving in the Gulf Stream warmed waters of
Britain's only coastal national park. We dive
from Easter until autumn each year on Sundays and on Wednesday
evenings. Extra diving is also available on Saturdays and during the week, tides and weather conditions permitting,
of course. We also try to have a diving week towards
the end of each summer when as many of us as possible
take the boats out to dive old favourites and
to try out new dive sites.
No take policy
Please note: Red Dragon Divers operates a 'no take' policy for all its members. This means that we do not bring any live marine creatures onto the boats on club dives. |

Meet the Club - Castle Square, Haverfordwest - 19th November 2011
Red Dragon Divers will be holding an 'event' on saturday 19th November in Castle Square. If you are interested in finding out more about the club and what we do, please come along and meet us between 09:00 and 15:00.
For those who already have been bitten by the scuba bug, it will provide a chance to find out what fantastic diving Pembrokeshire has to offer, while those who have yet to experience the underwater world will be able to arrange a 'Try Dive' with the club's instructors.
So whatever your level of interest in all things scuba - please come along. You will not be able to miss us as we will have a big orange boat!

The
diving
We
dive all around the coast, from the wrecks of
Milford Haven in the south, out to the islands
of Grassholm, Ramsey, Skockholm, Skomer and the
wreck of the Lucy, rocky outcrops such as Stack
Rocks, Green & Black Scar and Hen & Chicks
in St Bride's Bay and round to Porthllysgi, Abereiddy,
Abercastle, Strumble Head, Dinas Island and Newport
in the north.We
are proud of our safety record and good diving
practices and all our members are encouraged to
develop their skills as they gain more experience.
All members dive within their personal limits
of expertise and experience.
We
enjoy all types of diving, whether they are exciting
drifts, fragile walls, wrecks, wild life or exploratory
and are often surprised by what we find.

Red
Dragon Divers in Action (DVD)
Click
here then sit back and enjoy the club DVD,
filmed on location in Pembrokeshire by our diving
officer Richard Hughes, narrated by club member
Rebecca Hughes and featuring club members.
The stars of the show are filmed in their own underwater
environment: look out for curled octopus,
compass jellyfish, lesser spotted dogfish, common
lobster and three varieties of crab,
just for starters.
We also visit Pembrokeshire's famous shipwrecks,
combining shots of them resting on the sea bed
with original film of these historic craft before
they met their untimely end.
(We
are grateful to Cumara Music Company for allowing
us to use their music. www.cumara-music.co.uk)
